X-MAS

Today we learnt at school about Christmas.

Let me tell you something about it.

First of all when does people celebrate Christmas, what is Christmas and who celebrate it?

People celebrate 3 days of X-Mas from the 24th up to the 26th. The 24th  December is called Christmas Eve. The 25th is called Christmas Day and the 26th of December is called Boxing day.

On Christmas Eve people go to the church and on this day people don't eat any meat or fish.
On Christmas Day people celebrate  Jesus Birth and they celebrate it with the family and people they like. The Boxing day is celebrated in a few countries. On this day people open some X-MAS presents.

I have got some Austian friends and they told me how they celebrate this day. They told me, in Austria there is only one day important. They do everything on Christmas Day like unboxing and celebrating with the family. They belive Jesus was born on this day.

I don't celebrate Christmas because I am a Muslim and we have other days to celebrate.

That's Christmas as far as I know.

Guy Fawkes Day

Hello Guys!

At our school we learnt about The Guy Fawkes Day.
At the 5TH of November 1605, the House of the Parliament was a plan for a plot. The King Family was invited in the House of the Parliament.
Young people celebratre this day with bonfires and fireworks.

My new school

Hey everybody! I want to  tell you about my new school.


I get up at 7 o'clock, for being ready for my new school. It's a Business College in Perg. After my 5 years in my new school. I get an A-Level Exam. My new class is very nice because I like the people who are in the new class. We are learning a new language it's russian. I think it's a difficult language. I usually buy a bread with viennese cutlet and salad in it. My favourite subject is Physical Education and Business Studies but i don't like the teacher from BS. We are 20 Boys and 8 Girls.


My favourite teacher is misses Werner and the teacher I don't like is misses Lasinger.
My best friends in the class are Berat Gül, Tobias Ginninger, Lukas Spiegl, Philipp and Roberta.

Welcome to my english blog.

My name is Umutcan Baylan. I'm 15 years old. I was born in Austria, Upper Austria in Linz.
My parents are from Bingöl, a small village in Turkey. They came to Austria because they need a work. At the moment I am attending a Business college in Perg (Its a City in Upper Austria nearby Linz).

My hobbys are playing football, playing on my computer and just chilling my friends. I watch YouTube in my free time. My Favourite YouTube star is GermanLetsPlay. I like to play Minecraft
and Counter Strike Globle Offensive (It's a game where you use strategy and skill to win).
